Learning by sharing with Ms Casey's classes

What does a typical day at school look like for you?

Things to share with our overseas friends:

  1. What does your school look like?
  2. What subjects do you study at school?
  3. How do you get to school?
  4. How long do you spend at school and in any one class?

To think about:

What does a typical day at school look like for you?

How is your school different from others around the world?

To do: Stage 1:

a) Join this group and leave a comment below to answer the four questions above. Also list the school you attend and your country.

b) plan - a multimedia product that will explain the above 4 questions

(what software will you use or will you use some online apps from the 'Get Creative' group.)

c) In your plan include the details of what a typical day at school looks like for you?

My school is pretty big. There are 4 wings, a hall, a gym and lots of stairs. We have nearly 1000 students. It's opposite the botanic gardens, so we have lots of space. We study heaps of subjects in year 7; English, Humanities, Maths, Science, German, Japanese, Health, I.F.T and Sport. In years 8, 9 and 10 you go through the I.L.P program and pick your own subjects, then in years 11 and 12 you do V.C.E. I personally get to school by catching 2 public buses, some people get driven and some catch the school bus. We spend nearly 6 and a half hours at school and about 45 minutes in each class.
